About Us

about us

By transforming the way care is delivered, we aim to build stronger, healthier communities—one person at a time.

At Blue Cedar Wellness, we believe healing goes beyond treating symptoms—it is about restoring balance, movement, and overall well-being. Our practice is grounded in hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy that honors the whole person, combining clinical excellence with compassion, education, and individualized care.

The name Blue Cedar reflects the values at the heart of our work. Blue symbolizes wisdom, strength, and healing, while Cedar represents protection, grounding, and resilience—principles deeply connected to Navajo tradition and the natural world. These meanings guide our approach to care and our commitment to creating a supportive, respectful healing environment.

The Navajo Owned and Operated Clinic in Gallup, New Mexico is founded by Physical Therapist, Dr. Rob Whitehair. Rob’s vision for Blue Cedar Wellness was shaped by a desire to give back—to provide high-quality physical therapy close to home while honoring the cultural traditions and values that define the region. His connection to the Navajo community influences not only the clinic’s name, but also its patient-centered, respectful approach to healing.

At Blue Cedar Wellness, we are dedicated to helping patients regain and restore their quality of life by improving how they feel, move, and function. By combining evidence-based treatment with cultural awareness and genuine human connection, we strive to strengthen individual health and contribute to a healthier, more resilient community.
